ABOUT THE BOOKS

The Thousand Year War Series

Dark Fantasy - Reluctant Romance

The Kingdom of Bastran is a worst-case misogynistic patriarchy. Women with magic have no rights and no value except as vessels for breeding more soldiers.  The opposing kingdom of Azurin has turned away from this practice, but ideals are hard to change, even over generations.  It takes conscious effort and isn't just going to go away because one person commands it.

The Thousand Year War series fully explores the mental health issues present in survivors. Sexual assault leaves lifelong scars and the story stays authentic to that from the very beginning. The story is written with the intent of giving insight to those who have no concept of the struggle as well as validation to real survivors in their own journey.

Trigger Warning: This book contains themes of violence, sexual assault, and suicide. It is recommended for mature readers.

Book IV - The Thousand Year War Series

Dark Fantasy - Reluctant Romance

The Storm is coming, but we may not survive…

King Vaile is finally back by my side, but the war is far from over. With only a few months until our daughter is born, it’s more important than ever to end King Eston’s reign and free the breeders. However, Vaile is still recovering from Eston's torture, making him reluctant to address his responsibilities.

Despite all I have done to fight against my half-brothers, the Azurin citizens continue to distrust me. They accuse me of being in league with the Bastran royals, who have done nothing but try to destroy us.

When Eston begins to regain his losses from our previous battles, putting Vaile’s brothers in imminent danger, my husband knows what we must do. It is time to join the fight, and despite the increasing risks, I refuse to leave his side.

We cannot waste our opportunity to end the war once and for all. Or else our enemy will become unstoppable…
